FIBA working meeting 12 of november 2008
2008-11-01Dear members of FIBA
With the reference to conversation with FIBAs president today, we agreed about the following:
There will be no ordinary members meeting on 12th of November. Instead we will hold a working meeting with the members of FIBAs board committee.
Agenda for a working meeting is as following:
1. Information on the status of registration of FIBA
2. Choice of bank for FIBA in Murmansk
3. Clarify what the administration of FIBA will work with on behalf of the Board and members
4. Strategy for the recruitment of new members
5. Revision proposed budget for 2009 with suggestions for activities for the year 2009
6. Agenda for the next members meeting Thursday 11th of December with a social event that night
7. Develop principles for dialogue with FIBAs members for matters that FIBA will work with in the future. Example:
i) Simple surveys on members’ interests
a) Working permits, labor relations
b) VAT and Tax issues
c) Trade facilitation – customs
d) Administrative burdens
ii. Project formulations on selected issues
iii. Networking with Public authorities
iv. Contact with NOPEF for project support
The working meeting 12th of November, will be held in the SIVA Center, Podgornaya st., 92 at 17:00
Working meeting is open to all who wish to participate.
We want feedback from all of you for issues and ideas to be taken up in this working meeting.
