Shtokman village by Gazprom

Together with regional authorities in Murmansk, Russian energy major Gazprom plans to build a whole new village for the people engaged in the development of the Shtokman field.

Twenty-eight four-floor apartment blocks will be constructed and all public services made available.

According to the governor of Murmansk, the Shtokman project will include the development of “serious social infrastructure”. 28 four-floor apartment blocks will built. In connection, also two kindergartens, three schools, a swimming pool and a clinic will be constructed.

Mr. Yevdokimov spoke to the press last week after Gazprom had announced that Teriberka will be the site for the planned Shtokman LNG plant.
