Inflation in Russia in October was zero

Consumer prices in Russia in October is not changed. Since the beginning of the year inflation amounted to 8.1% (in 2008 the October – 0.9%, from the beginning of the year – 11.6%). It is reported by the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
The October decline in consumer prices observed in 31 RF subject. Most of all goods and services cheaper in the Krasnoyarsk region and the Tambov region – by 0.6%. In the Krasnoyarsk region have lowered tariffs for services and prices of food products (by 1.9% and 1.2% respectively), in the Tambov region – food prices (by 1.8%).
In 10 subjects of the Federation, an increase in consumer prices was 0.4% and more, including Ingushetia – 0.6%.
In Moscow, amounted to consumer price index for the month to 100.2% (-108.9% YTD), in St. Petersburg – 99.8% (from the beginning of the year – 107.5%).
In October, the trend was significant reduction in the prices of fruits and vegetables. Therefore, vegetables and potatoes are cheaper by 10.0% (including cabbage, fresh – by 15.9%, carrot – by 13.2%, onion – by 11.5%). With an average price drop of fruit at 2.8%, grape prices have fallen by 5.7%, apples and pears at 4.8% and 4.7% respectively oranges – of 3.1%.
Among the observed species of fish has fallen more than just the price of frozen fish intact (except salmon), fish fillets, salmon roe – on 1,4-2,8%. However, salted and smoked fish delicatessen products, was canned fish in tomato sauce, up 0.5%.
Among the remaining observed types of foods to 1,0-1,6% of steel is cheaper flour, peas and beans, rice, millet, barley, oats, barley, semolina.
At the same time to 0,7-1,7% for the month increased the price of honey, pasteurized milk, milk products, sour cream, cottage cheese, fat, curd cheese coated with chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, candy, ice cream, salt, Hermetic vegetables, baby food.
Cost of minimum food basket in Russia on average at the end of October amounted to 2,101.6 rubles per month. Compared with the end of September reduced its value by 1.8% (from the beginning of the year – by 0.7%). The cost for the set in Moscow in late October and amounted to 2,368.7 rubles per month decreased by 1.0% (from the beginning of the year – an increase of 1.2%), in St. Petersburg – 2295.2 and the ruble fell by 0, 8% (from the beginning of the year – fell 0.7%).
In the past month, significantly increased the price of seasonal clothing and footwear for children and adults, certain types of knit and fur hats – on 1,7-4,1%.
In the group of medicines most galazolin increased (by 7.0%), Ambroxol, aspirin, Nitroglycerin, and housing – on 1,3-2,0%. But, as in the last month observed, for certain types of drugs marked decline in prices. Prices multivitamins, Corvalol, validol, suprastin, iodine, Vinpocetine, enalapril, pancreatin was lower by 0,2-1,5%.
Among other types of non-food items observed in 0,2-1,7% of steel is cheaper petrol brands AI-92 (AI-93, etc.), diesel, portable personal computers (laptop), DVD players, washing machines and automatically certain types of building materials.
In October, in accordance with the schedule of tariff regulation travel to long distance trains in the middle became cheaper by 8.8%.
At the same time on 1,4-5,0% reduction in the cost of trips to European countries, and traveling to Spain and Turkey, traveling to China and stay in motels and B & Bs and resorts in Russia.
On 0,4-1,8% cheaper long distance phone services, accommodation, access to Internet, air transport services and certain types of insurance services.
But the price of gas network for the month increased by 4.0%.
In the group of public services on 1,2-1,8% inflation on the services of the bathroom, washing and ironing, repairing refrigerators, certain types of ritual services. Meanwhile, the implementation of the upholstery work cheaper by 0.2%.
Among the remaining observed types of services to 1,0-2,8% more expensive rental accommodation, accommodation in student halls of residence, certificate of wills in the notary office, classes in swimming pools, a combined ticket for urban passenger transportation, theater tickets, individual types medical services, education services and wireless communications.
