Enforta To Add Murmansk among other 25 Cities to Its Russian WiMAX Network in 2010
2009-11-09Enforta today announces that it will expand its wireless broadband service to cover an additional 25 cities during 2010, increasing the company’s overall service ‘footprint’ to 93 cities.
The expansion program will include the cities of Kirov, Cheboksary, Novocheboksarsk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Kursk, Cherepovets, Murmansk, Elista, Nizhnevartovsk, Saransk, Vladimir, Smolensk, Kostroma, Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Naberezhny Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Orel, Tambov, and Siktivkar. The cities of Kazan, Ivanovo, Serov, and Tobolsk are expected to launch as early as the first quarter of 2010. Upon conclusion of these deployments 70 million people will be within reach of Enforta’s service.
Enforta has aggressively deployed its broadband services across Russia’s regional capitals and despite its short six year history Enforta was included amongst the largest 30 telecom operators in the ‘CNews’ annual survey.
The company plans to invest approximately $25M during 2010 for the expansion program.
