Canada joins Murmansk economic forum

Canadian trade delegation form Labrador and Newfoundland is going to take part in Murmansk economic forum. This decision was besides secured by the letter of Canadian ambassador, Mr. Ralf Lisishin. The delegation will consist of the managers of Canadian businesses headed by the Minister of Natural Resources of Newfoundland and Labrador, Ms. Kathy Dunderdale.

This delegation is another cooperation step started in June with the visit of Mr. Sergey Smityushenko, First Deputy Governor of Murmansk region at NOIA conference, June 2009.

Canadian businessmen are to discuss oil and gas issues in Arctic conditions.
