French Total to invest soon

Total SA confirmed its Shtokman investment plans for early 2010. The idea was expressed at the Paris Oil Conference by Christophe de Margerie, Chief executive officer of Total.

Earlier, Mr. Yuri Komarov, the head of Shtokman Development announced that the stakeholders of the first project phase must be ready for making own investments. He says, besides, that despite the shift in the terms for feasibility study, the works will be launched in summer 2010 as previously planned.
