Tourists may apply for visa to Norway through Internet

The application can be registered at http://www.norvegia.ru/murmansk/, still it will be available only since January, 19th. Visa fees can be paid on-line by credit card.

Anyway, the applicant should then personally come to the Consulate to submit other relevant documents (passport, 2 photos, insurance policy and other documents specifying the aim of the visit). Group visas can also be applied for from the portal that could be also a great advantage for travel agencies.

This approach shortens the visa consideration period and allows a tourist to come at a specified time to the General Consulate instead of queuing.
