Conference: Oil and Gas of the Arctic Shelf in Murmansk

The international conference named Oil and Gas in Arctic Shelf takes place in Murmansk for the fourth time. The exhibition gathers 500 participants from Russia, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine and Moldova over the discussion of the Arctic Shelf exploration.

First day, Total and Statoil Hydro presented their pilot projects and study results of gas within Shtokman.

The conference today covers 5 topics: geology, engineering, examination, infrastructure and economy, ecology and environmental monitoring.

The international forum ends on the 4th of November.
