This office was established for offering the human resources to the International merchant shipping industry. The company holds a License as an agent for employment of Russian citizens abroad, granted by the Federal Government. Moreover we are certified by the Ministry of Transport to be a crewing/manning agent, and by BVQI meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standard. As a proof we attach hereto the copies of these certificates.

Since 1997 Credo Crewing Agency has been providing to various Europeans clients Officers and Ratings who served on GCD, B/C, LOG, MPT and CON vessels on a permanent and temporary basis. Among our clients there were such companies as Northern Shipping Company, V. Ships and Jebsens who can give their references.

Our company is situated in Arkhangelsk, North Russia, and which is called the capital of the Russian North. This city is a big Russian sea port, thus a great number of seamen are available in this area and this office never lacks marine personnel. Besides, we practice engaging people from other regions as well thus widening the area of the candidates search.

Documented Quality Management System maintained by our company assures that only qualified and professional seamen are able to pass through the registration procedure which along with checking all certificates includes the English Language Test. All candidates in our personnel database both Officers and Ratings meet STCW’95 requirements. We are able to supply senior and junior officers, engine and deck ratings including cadets. Our company cooperates with such state maritime educational institutions as Saint-Petersburg Maritime Academy and Arkhangelsk Marine College in respect of supplying cadets or training deck ratings.

We effect crew changes upon the ship managers’ request. We take care of delivering the crew from the place of domicile to the vessel and back trying to do it safely and smoothly. Following the clients’ preferences we are able to provide complete crews as well as single crewmembers. Lately we have practiced supplying constant crews to the certain vessel which have proved to be very effective and useful. Having gained a considerable experience we are ready to share it with our new partners.

We have supplied seafarers to the vessels flying convenient flags and flag of NIS register. Thus we have dealt with different flag authorities such as Malta, Cyprus, Barbados, Panama. Our personnel have experience of arranging all necessary endorsements required by the flag administrations and this experience enables them to get acquainted easily with any other flag requirements. All seamen working through our company on convenient flag vessels are covered by an ITF Standard Collective Fleet Agreement which can be concluded between Seafarers Union of Russia, representative of ITF and our company on behalf of the shipowner/manager. Moreover, we can present the interests of the foreign shipowner/manager when dealing with SUR.

In case of arranging visas and transportation we co-operate closely with our travel agent and good partners “Air and Sea Transport AS”, Oslo, Norway who assist us in booking flights, issuing tickets, transporting crews, dealing with Consulates and Embassies. From our side we would like to propose them as a travel agent for your company.

All our services are rendered in accordance with the terms of a crewing agreement. If it makes you interested the draft of such can be presented to you upon your request. The services are provided at reasonable cost and which is subject to discuss. But we would like you to note that all costs for the services provided include:
• Arranging and keeping the database of candidates;
• Checking the candidates regarding meeting the STCW’95 requirements and testing on the knowledge of the English language;
• Selection of the crew/crewmember required by the ship manager/owner;
• Preparing the crew for employment including medical examination and flag requirements;
• Dealing with the Flag administration;
• Arranging the crew change including booking the tickets and dealing with the agent;
• Keeping the crew once worked for the company ready for the next employment;
