Abstract:Using photographic flash for candid shots often results in an unevenly lit scene, in which objects in the back appear dark. A Swiss R&D organisation offers a novel spatially adaptive photographic flash technology (consisting of a lamp, LCD, lens and software), in which the intensity of illumination varies depending on the depth and reflectivity of features in the scene resulting in natural and evenly lit scenes. Looking for companies to license in and/or to develop together this flash system.
